Happy Birthday Little Girls! We are heading to Disney World today.

Wow! I am not good at keeping up the blog... The kids are growing up too fast. We had a blast down at the beach this past weekend but it is back to work. I have to study, study, study. My next CPA exam is in 10 days... I will put some new pictures up soon.

The Whited's go to the Circus!

We decided to take Kate to the circus this year. First of all can we say "MONEY PIT!" $12 for cotton candy and a wizard hat made out of felt and fabric glue. Not to mention the $20 glorified flashlight! They just know that kids will throw a temper tantrum until their parents break down and buy one for them. You could tell though that everyone was ticked off about paying the $20+ for the tickets and didn't want to spend more money because there was maybe on light for every 50 people (normally everyone has one it seems). Luckily for us, Kate was scared when we first went in so she didn't even notice the lights. Anyway she loved the dogs and their tricks and was sad to say goodbye to the "elly-ants." Overall we had a great time. I would show pictures, but somehow I managed to be talked into taking the camera that had dead batteries!

Latest Happenings...

Well, the last few nights I have been eyeball deep in ancestry.com. For those of you who don't know, on my dad's side we are missing the link for one generation to be able to tie back our family tree all the way to the boat ride over from Holland (although they were originally from Germany). Anyway, if you ever want to try to be a private investigator, working on your family tree is a good challenge. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to stumble upon something from roughly 1810 to tie everthing together.

In addition to that, I started the UAB EatRight program on Tuesday. I am super excited about the whole experience which will continue for the next 12 weeks. So more to come on that...
