Despite the chaos leading up to the party related directly to the printer disaster at Portrait Innovations and the near loss of $100 in fruit, Kate's party was a success. Unfortunately with my travelling I forgot some key details until the last minute, but thank goodness for friends! Jenn and my manicurist Kim help me pull off the cutest, yummiest center pieces ever in the history of infant birthdays. Thanks again to everyone that "took orders" from me, I really appreciate all the help. I would post pics from the party but I don't have them yet :( So you will have to go to Jenn and Brandon's blog for now.
In other news, if you are keeping up with my travels you would think I was on my way to Minnesota tomorrow... However, I will be staying in warm sunny Birmingham instead. Just between us, I have had enough airport living to last me a little while anyway.

The party was a big success and I believe that Kate understood it was all for her! We all had a great time but can't believe she is a year old already. It has been a fast year.
We love our little "doodlebug" dearly.
